The Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (ACORAB) conducted a one-day session for ACORAB board members on preparing radio stations' Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) contingency plans. The workshop was co-organized with BBC Media Action. Participants in the session highlighted the need of having a contingency plan in place to enable community radio be prepared in the case of an emergency. Following the session, a brief contingency plan will be developed and distributed to all community radio members.
