Lobby and Advocacy
In its capacity as a professional organization, ACORAB is dedicated to promoting the interests of community radio and advocating collectively on their behalf. This involves shaping state laws, influencing public opinion, and enhancing the association's ability to engage in lobbying and advocacy. ACORAB also focuses on internal advocacy to reinforce democratic norms and accountability, foster professionalism, uphold objectivity, promote gender sensitivity, inclusivity, and maintain ethical standards among its member community radios.
